Emerging artist Karen Lulu lives and paints in Mulan community, on Walmajarri country. This area, and the country all around Paraku (Lake Gregory) is Karen’s traditional country. Her mother, established artist Veronica Lulu, is a matriarch of Mulan community and taught Karen to paint the creation story of Mungil, the flower abundant in this region.
