Leah comes from a very strong artist family - her grandmother Ningie Nanala and grandfather Tjumpo Tjapanangka (dec.), both renowned Balgo artists, and their children Winifred, Dulcie and Vincent. Leah lives between the Wirrimanu (Balgo) and Mulan communities, paints Ningie’s stories and has also been given permission to paint her grandfather’s Country, Wilkinkarra.
