About Marlene Cooley

Marlene Cooley has been making and selling carvings since about 2001. The daughter of Billy and Lulu Cooley, she learned whilst accompanying them on Country to collect wood and helping to etch the designs under her mother’s guidance. So, their skills are passed on through the Tjukurpa, the Law and way of life governing their country.
