With great pleasure we present a brand new collection of paintings and ceramics by senior artist Carlene Thompson from Ernabella Arts, Australia's oldest continuously running Indigenous Art Centre in Pukatja Community, South Australia.

2023 is the 20th anniversary of the ceramics studio at Ernabella Arts, where artists work on both hand-built and wheel thrown vessels, finishing their pieces with sgraffito designs which tell their stories of Law, Culture and connection to Country.

Carlene started painting at the art centre in 2007 and quickly developed her very individual style. Her designs are original and contemporary, while often based on Country and its creation beings. She is a strong participant in women's ceremony and has passed this knowledge on to her daughters.
