Georgina Webb

Georgina Webb was born in 1981 and comes from Busselton in the South West of Western Australia.

Her paintings are focused around her country and reflect the love and respect she has for the beautiful land, her home. She is a Wardandi woman with strong family connections across the South West of WA. Every painting tells a different story of her people, her country and the warmth she gets from grounding herself and connecting country. The trees, flowers, animals, the ocean, waterways and the people inspire a lot of her art.

She started painting and taking interest in art at a young age, after watching and learning from her Grandmother who was a prolific artist and extremely creative across the arts. She was a great art influencer on her and a well known Elder in Busselton and surrounds.

Georgina paints with acrylic on canvas using country as her inspiration. She depicts landscape, ocean, flora and fauna, songlines and noongar symbols in her artworks.

In March 2025, Georgina won the Noongar Country 2025 Local Award at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery “Noongar Country 2025 - Celebrating Continuing Connection to Noongar Boodja” exhibition.
