Injalak Artists

Injalak Arts
Injalak Arts & Crafts is an ethical Aboriginal-owned social enterprise in the Northern Territory of Australia. The arts and crafts they create and sell are made by their members; Indigenous Australian people from the Kunwinjku language group. They have more than 200 active members living on their traditional lands in West Arnhem Land in Australia's Northern Territory who work through the art centre. Famous for their fine art paintings and natural fibre weavings, visitors come from around the world to see the thriving art centre and meet the artists. Injalak artists are inspired by their culture and heritage, thousands of years old, and the natural environment.

Injalak Arts also has an on-site workshop where they hand screen-print fabric on an 8 metre table with designs by local men and women. All printing is also done by members of Injalak Arts. They sell the fabric in lengths and also value add through creating useful and attractive products.
