Republic Unlimited Portfolios

We have the honour of offering an edition of fine art prints from the Republic Unlimited portfolios, commissioned by Leo Christie OAM and established in 2002. This series was a highly selective collection of works combining master printmakers with leading Australian artists.
The first of the series, published in 2002 was "Two Women | Republic Unlimited" which featured Dorothy Napangardi printed by Basil Hall, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin and Kitty Kantilla printed by Franck Gohier, Red Hand Prints, Darwin.
Editions of this portfolio are held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, the British Museum, London, and the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.
The second in the series in 2003 was "Common Ground | Republic Unlimited", featuring Fiona Hall printed by Martin King, Australian Print Workshop, Melbourne and Gloria Tamerre Petyarre printed by Basil Hall, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin.
Editions of this portfolio are held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.
The third portfolio, published in 2005 was "Top End | Republic Unlimited", featuring Rosella Namok printed by Basil Hall and Natasha Rowell, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin and Gulumbu Yunupingu printed by Basil Hall, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin.
Editions of this portfolio are held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.
Published in 2008, the "Peppimenarti | Republic Unlimited" portfolio features two artists from the same community for the first time - Regina Pilawuk Wilson and Patsy Marfura from the Peppimenarti region in the Daly River region of the Northern Territory. Regina's work was printed by Jacqueline Gribbin & Merran Sierakowski, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin and Patsy's by Basil Hall, Basil Hall Editions, Darwin.
Editions of this portfolio are held in the collections of the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.
Each print has been expertly framed, with non-reflective glass.
